What has been changed?
* Fixes the phenomenon of shots being unable to be taken when using the remote controller RC-1.
* Fixes the phenomenon wherein the camera continues to scroll through images being played back.
* Improves reliability in communication when using some CF cards.

Keeping up with firmware updates is usually a very good idea because they usually fix many bugs that your camera may have shipped with.
Even if you don’t own the cameras mentioned above please go to your camera manufacturers website and check if they have released any updates for your cameras. If they have then go ahead and install them and that will keep both you and your camera happy!
