Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III
Letsgodigital has posted a review of the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III digital camera. They write: In total some five pictures per second can be taken in the highest resolution. The two processors are capable of processing a 100 Megapixels per second, which fits with the 10 fps with 10 Megapixels of the EOS 1D Mark III. The specifications are impressive and to get the assignment to use this camera in practice is very appealing to a photographer like me.

Canon PowerShot A650 IS Digital Camera Review
Digitalcamerainfo has posted a review of the Canon PowerShot A650 IS Digital Camera. Bill Mixon writes: The Canon PowerShot A650 IS is a full-featured camera that is easy-to-use and relatively affordable. The 6x optical zoom lens coupled with 12-megapixels of resolution are undoubtedly an attractive combination.
In terms of image quality, the A650 IS sports Canon’s traditionally excellent color and white balance accuracy. With 12 megapixels, the camera also provides great resolution, but suffers from high noise levels and poor dynamic range above ISO 100. This is typical of high-megapixel cameras; what is gained in resolution, is made up for with lots of noise.

Canon Powershot G9 Review
Camera.co.uk has posted a review of the Canon Powershot G9 digital camera. They write: The Canon Powershot G9 ticks all the right boxes for me. In terms of picture quality it is difficult to find much better in a compact camera. It is also packed with features and it will be hard for me to let this camera go. Recommended.

Canon PowerShot SX100 IS
Asia.cnet has posted a review of the Canon PowerShot SX100 IS digital camera. Lori Grunin writes: What the camera sacrifices in speed, however, it makes up for in photo quality. Perhaps it’s just the result of an extra few months of tweaking since the S5 shipped, but the SX100’s photo quality, especially at higher ISO sensitivity settings, clearly improves upon its siblings. At ISO 800, for example, there’s far less of a mottled look in the SX100’s shots, but with no increased loss of detail.

Canon IXUS 70 Review
Cameras.co.uk has posted a review of the Canon IXUS 70 digital camera. They write: Although you pay a bit more for the Canon IXUS 70 then you do with many other pocket sized digital cameras you do get good value for money. This is a good all round camera that outperforms the majority of its rivals in most areas. It also has the added bonus of a viewfinder. Recommended.

Canon Powershot A460 Review
Cameras.co.uk has posted a review of the Canon Powershot A460 digital camera. The write: There is a lot to like about the Powershot A460, but the noise levels and also the shutter lag times when the flash unit is being used are major causes of concern. The strong points include the natural colours and small amount of extra zoom on an entry level digital camera.

Canon PowerShot SD1000 (black)
Reviews.cnet has posted areview of the Canon PowerShot SD1000 digital camera. Philip Ryan writes: Image quality from the PowerShot SD1000 was excellent in our tests, with accurate colors and plenty of sharpness. The camera’s automatic white balance yielded slightly yellowish images with our test lab’s Tungsten lights, though the Tungsten white balance preset compensated,
producing very neutral colors. Canon keeps noise well under control from ISO 80 through ISO 200, though the company’s noise reduction algorithms seem to pull out a minute amount of sharpness at ISO 200. At ISO 400 noise becomes more apparent, manifesting as a light covering of mostly bluish, off-color speckles. ISO 800 brings significantly more noise, though images may be usable for smaller prints (4×6 inch).

Canon PowerShot A560 review
Asia.cnet has posted a review of the Canon PowerShot A560 digital camera.
Will Greenwald writes: With quick performance and decent photos, the Canon PowerShot A560 makes a solid budget camera. It doesn’t boast a bevy of special features and isn’t particularly small or light, but it’s a strong choice if you don’t want to spend a lot for your snapshots. If your caffeine-ridden, shaky hands often make your pictures blurry, you should note that the next model up in Canon’s line, the A570 IS is very similar to this one, but also includes optical image stabilization.
