Fuji Finepix S6500fd Review

Cameras.co.uk has posted a review of the Fuji Finepix S6500fd digital camera. They write: The Fuji Finepix S6500fd is one of the few super zoom cameras I have reviewed that appears to be able to avoid the dreaded purple fringing. If you have a slightly higher budget you will get more features including image stabilisation, but this is certainly a camera worth considering.

Fujifilm FinePix F31fd digital camera review

Trustedreviews has posted a review of the Fujifilm FinePix F31fd digital camera.

Cliff Smith writes: Like its predecessor the F30, the Fujifilm FinePix F31fd has the best high-ISO performance on the market, as well as a number of other useful features, not least of which is class-leading battery duration. Build quality, style, performance and photographic results are also as good as anything else on the market. However the Face Detection technology is probably not enough to justify the relatively high price compared to the outstanding F30.

Fuji FinePix A610/A800 review

Dcresource has posted a review of the Fuji FinePix A610/A800 digital camera. They write:The FinePix A800 is the first model in Fujifilm’s A-Series line-up to sport an eight-MegaPixel Super CCD Sensor and the first to incorporate light sensitivities of up to ISO 800 at full resolution. Borrowing a page from Fujifilm’s more advanced camera models, the FinePix A800 shoots at higher light sensitivities with less noise than comparative models. This
results higher quality “natural light” photos and less blur in images as the FinePix A800 matches these higher light sensitivities with faster shutter speeds.

Fujifilm’s A-Series digital cameras are among its most popular models and the FinePix A610 should help continue this trend.  This camera has the same comfortable design as the FinePix A800 and is priced right for the first-time digital buyer. In a first for Fujifilm’s compact digital camera range, the FinePix A800 and A610 both feature a “xD/SD Compatible slot”, which accepts not only Fujifilm’s traditional xD-Picture Cards, but also Secure Digital (SD) cards.

Fuji FinePix F40fd

Dcresource has posted a review of the Fuji FinePix F40fd digital camera. They write: To make it easy for consumers to achieve blur-free results, the FinePix F40fd also features Fujifilm’s “Picture Stabilization” mode. Not only does Picture Stabilization reduce the “blur” effect from the photographer’s hand-shake, it also adjusts for subject movement, and compensates for low light shooting, making it a comprehensive solution to prevent
blurry photos. This easy-to-identify, automatic setting lets the FinePix F40fd choose the correct light sensitivity and shutter speed for the highest quality digital pictures, with sharp, clean and clear results.

Fujifilm FinePix F470 review

Asia.cnet has posted a review of the Fujifilm FinePix F470 digital camera.

David D. Busch writes: We found the FinePix F470 to be a generally average performer, powering up for its initial shot in 2.2 seconds and subsequently snapping off photos every 2.1 seconds. Zippy flash recycling kept that time down to a flash shot every 2.4 seconds. A basic but serviceable burst mode shot images at about 1.8fps. Shutter lag was acceptable under high-contrast lighting at 0.6 second but slowed to a frustrating 1.6 seconds under low-contrast illumination as the autofocus struggled to lock in. A
focus-assist lamp would probably have helped.

Fujifilm FinePix F31fd review

Asia.cnet has posted a review of the  Fujifilm FinePix F31fd digital camera.

Damian Koh writes: The good: Face detection; wireless connectivity to IrSimple devices; increased built-in memory; low noise at high sensitivity settings.

The bad: Boring design; lackluster continuous shooting mode; proprietary memory card format; no optical image stabilizer; lens could be wider.
The bottom line: The Fujifilm FinePix F31fd carries on the leading high ISO performance from the F30 and is a solid all-round compact camera for general photography and low-light shooting.

Fujifilm FinePix S6000fd digital camera review

Imaging resource has posted a review of the Fujifilm FinePix S6000fd digital camera.

Dan Havlik writes:  The Fuji S6000fd is one of the better superzoom models I’ve tested. It has a very responsive 10.71x (28 - 300mm) zoom lens that’s easy to adjust using the rubberized manual zoom ring around the barrel of the lens. Though this camera includes a bevy of pro-like features, including a professional look, RAW image support, and a very responsive processor, it also has a host of features that a less advanced photographer would appreciate. In particular, technologies such as
Face Detection and the ability to shoot low-noise images at high light sensitivities, will surely be appreciated by a wide range of photographers, making the Fuji S6000fd a real winner.

Fujifilm Finepix F650 review

Reviews.cnet has posted a review of the Fujifilm Finepix F650 digital camera.

Philip Ryan writes: Overall, we were pleased with the image quality of the FinePix F650. Images contained nice amounts of fine detail, and although they weren’t as sharp as we’ve seen from some cameras, they were far from the worst. Colors appeared accurate and well saturated, and fringing and artifacts were few, and barely noticeable. The camera’s automatic white balance produced warm yet almost orange images with our lab’s tungsten lights, though the tungsten preset yielded very neutral colors.

Fijifilm FinePix A600 digital camera review

Reviews.cnet has posted a review of theFijifilm FinePix A600 digital camera.

Will Greenwald writes: Though its images satisfied, the Fujifilm FinePix A600’s design left a lot to be desired and its wake-up and shot-to-shot times could have been faster. Between its clunky body and awkward control scheme, the A600 simply isn’t very fun or easy to use. If you’re looking for a simple, attractive, inexpensive camera, you might consider the Olympus FE-190 instead, though it doesn’t include a continuous shooting mode. If you’re looking for a budget point-and-shoot with strong manual features,
consider the Canon PowerShot A540 The two cameras are quite different from each other, but each vastly improves upon the A600’s flaws.
