Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS Digital Camera

Reviews.cnet has posted a review of the Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS Digital Camera. Philip Ryan writes: If you tend to be more of a snapshooter, but want the reach of a 12x zoom lens, you’ll probably like the Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS. In fact, even advanced amateurs will be impressed with its manual exposure controls and image quality, but more choosy photographers may take fault with the artifacts we saw and the noise at higher ISOs. However, for this price, it’s very hard to find a camera that matches the Z712 IS.

Reviews.cnet has posted a review of Kodak EasyShare V803 digital camera. Will Greenwald writes: We were pleased to see what Kodak calls the Maintain Settings mode, which saves your preferences for settings such as ISO, white balance, flash, and pixel resolution, so you don’t have to reset them each time you turn your camera on, as you had to with some previous Kodak models.

Kodak EasyShare V1003 (slate grey)

Reviews.cnet has posted a review of the Kodak EasyShare V1003 digital camera. Will Greenwald writes: The V1003 performed reasonably well in our lab tests. After a 2.7-second wait from power-on to first shot, we managed to take new photos every 1.6 seconds thereafter. With the onboard flash enabled, that wait increased to 3.7 seconds. The shutter was acceptably responsive,
lagging 0.6 seconds with our high-contrast target and 1.6 seconds with our low-contrast target. The camera’s burst mode only takes four shots at a time. In our tests it snapped them over 2.1 seconds for a decent rate of 1.9 frames per second.

Kodak EasyShare C743 digital camera

Imaging-resource has posted a review of the Kodak EasyShare C743 digital camera. Dan Havlik writes: On paper, the Kodak EasyShare C743 seems like a steal. With a bargain basement price of under $160, the camera offers a good feature set including a 7.1 megapixel imaging sensor, a Kodak-branded 3x optical zoom lens with a 37-111mm equivalent focal range, and a 2.4-inch LCD along with a real-image optical viewfinder — an increasingly rare option
on compact digital cameras these days. Like most of Kodak’s cameras, I found the C743 to be very easy to use with relatively good speed for basic snapshooting.

Kodak EasyShare P712 Digital Camera Review

LetsGoDigital has posted a review of the Kodak EasyShare P712    Digital Camera. They write: We have tested the Kodak EasyShare P712 Megazoom camera exhaustively. At this point, the non-DSLR camera manufacturers are betting high with their Megazoom hybrid digital cameras, while the DSLR manufacturers introduce highly priced system cameras rapidly and with that, say good-bye to their own hybrid segment. Whether or not Kodak will
be less successful with their Megazoom segment, because of these developments, has still to be seen.

Kodak EasyShare V803 review

Reviews.cnet has posted a review of the Kodak EasyShare V803 digital camera. Will Greenwald writes: The V803 performed reasonably well, though it takes far too long to start up. After a 4.3-second wait from power-on to first shot, we managed to take new photos every 1.4 seconds thereafter. With the onboard flash enabled, that wait increased to 3 seconds. The shutter
was acceptably responsive, lagging 0.6 seconds with our high-contrast target and 1.6 seconds with our low-contrast target. The camera’s burst mode only takes four shots at a time. In our tests it snapped them over 1.9 seconds for a respectable rate of 2.1 frames per second.
